Terms and Conditions of Trade
Any order placed with OfficeRocket TM constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms.
1 PRICES AND GST
1.1 Prices quoted are excluding GST unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
1.3 All goods and services sold are subject to Goods and Services Tax.
2 DELIVERY
2.1 OfficeRocket TM shall deliver the goods to the address stated on the order.
2.2 OfficeRocket TM will not be responsible for any part delivery or delay in delivery of the goods as a result of events occurring beyond OfficeRocket TM’s control. OfficeRocket TM shall not be in any way responsible for any consequences (direct or indirect) arising from such delay or non-delivery.
2.3 All claims for shortage or damage during delivery must be made in writing to OfficeRocket TM within 14 days of the date of delivery.
2.4 All claims for non-delivery of a shipment must be made in writing to OfficeRocket TM;
A) in the case of a whole shipment being lost, within 14 days of the date the invoice is printed and mailed to the customer or, where the invoice has been packed with the shipment, within 14 days of when OfficeRocket TM makes the customer aware, by such means as sending a statement or sending an email, that a shipment has been made.
B) in the case of items missing from a shipment as evidenced by the enclosed packing slip or invoice, within 14 days of receipt of the shipment.
2.5 Risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery to the address stated on the order.
3 PRIVACY ACT 1993
3.1 The Customer authorises OfficeRocket TM to collect, retain, and use personal information about the Customer for marketing goods and services provided by OfficeRocket TM to the Customer and for identity verification and credit card transaction purposes.
4 RETURN OF GOODS
4.1 All returns must be accompanied by a return advice number.
4.2 OfficeRocket TM will provide a full refund for any product that is returned unopened and in original condition within 14 days for any reason whatsoever. Freight and handling charges will not be refunded.
4.3 Return freight will be at OfficeRocket TM’s cost only when there has been an error on OfficeRocket TM’s part.
5 CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT
5.1 If the goods have been acquired for business purposes, the terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act do not apply.
5.2 The only warranty offered by OfficeRocket TM is a manufacturer’s warranty accompanying the goods should one exist.
5.3 In any event, OfficeRocket TM’s liability under any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods.
5.4 Nothing in these terms is intended to have the effect of contracting out of the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 except to the extent permitted by that Act, and these terms are to be modified to the extent necessary to give effect to that intention.
